I used to keep a shoebox in my closet of all my bad traits. Every month, I'd review it, curse at myself, and look at what I did wrong. It enabled me to be right. That's why I spend a gigantic amount of time talking about what to do wrong, because if you do things wrong, and you don't note them and figure them out, you're not going to change ... The wins take care of themselves; it's the losses that wreck you.

It's just terrible how little [financial] education [people have]. That's why people keep borrowing money to buy stocks. I don't mind borrowing money to buy a house because you live in it, but when you borrow money to buy stocks and the stocks go down or the options go down, you're out of luck, and therefore, even though I'm Jimmy chill, you're stupid.

There's no better asset in the world than Bitcoin ... You've got interest rates manipulated down to zero. You've got trillions of dollars being printed, which creates a fear of inflation, whether it ever happens or not ... Bitcoin, structurally—it's the smallest market cap, [and] it's got the most volatility—is likely to go up the most in value when people fear inflation.

If you take a gold bug and a bitcoiner and put them side-by-side, they agree almost to the tee on all of the structural problems, the macro-environment—all those issues. They agree on the theoretical solution, which is sound money principles. What they disagree on is the application of the sound money principles. You can do that through a digital means, which is Bitcoin, or you can do that through more of an analog means, which is gold. What most bitcoiners would argue is if you put gold and Bitcoin next to each other from a utility standpoint, Bitcoin is more efficient, more divisible, and more portable.

I'll give just one really good educational tip that's worked for me: Before you buy a stock, give me three reasons why you would.

One of the things that just absolutely drives me crazy is the irrelevance of the vast majority of things I learned ... I was thinking about my biology class in eighth grade. We cut up a lot of frogs.
