I think we have to separate people's humanity from their views, and we have to respect them on a humanity level... Ideas and beliefs do form us to some degree, but not the whole of us. Being able to make that distinction is so important.

I would say, right now, what drives me the most are saying and doing the things that I didn't believe were possible 5, 10, or even 15 years ago. That's what really gets me excited.
